1. Project Title: Development of Vocational Education and Training in Viet Nam – Cooperation between Viet Nam and Denmark Phase II

2. Donor: Danish Government (through Ministry of Education – Denmark and Danish Embassy in Viet Nam)

5. Project objectives:

– Overall objective: To strengthen the relevance, quality and responsiveness of vocational education in Vietnam.

– Specific Objectives:

+ To foster the close cooperation between colleges, authorities and industries and enhance the practical and desired autonomy for the vocational institutions;

+ To enhance the management and teaching staff at [selected] vocational colleges in the area of VET development and change management in VET;

+ To strenghen the cooperation between VET institutions and state-owned and private enterprises in the related sectors and improved student recruitment;

+ To boost cooperation and exchange between TVET colleges and between their lectures in Vietnam and Denmark in the occupation of graphic design, furniture and food industry.

5. Implementation time: From 8/2019 to 6/2022

6. Total budget: ODA fund: 6.500.000 DKK (equivalent to 988,676 USD); Counter part: 0 (Financial Mechanism: All funds are directly disbursed by the Donor)
